Dear Gary,
My family and I just wanted to drop you a note to reinforce what we told you time and again while you were at our property. We are so thankful for the work that you did. It was obvious from the beginning that your years of experience made you skilled at what you were dOing. Our initial objective was to have you clear an area behind our pond. As you did it, you opened up an area that you made absolutely beautiful (the huge pecan and walnut trees that you “found” also helped). By clearing the underbrush and scrub trees, you made that area enjoyable for years to come.
Through your work, you introduced us to parts of our land that we have never seen before in the 11 years that we’ve owned it. Your experience with the machinery, coupled with your knowledge of the types of trees/terrain led us to ask you to do a perimeter clearing around our property (you even did some research at night to validate some things). Instead of straight lines along fences (which is what I would have expected and lived with) you took the opportunity to give it some character by leaving the right trees in the right places, adding some curves, and in general giving it a high level of appeal. We are already planning hayrides around the property, and can’t wait to show off the work that you did. The decisions that you made to leave trees with character and value, opening up areas where views were inspiring, and adding some nice touches along the way simply solidified the positive experience that we had with your work. You did all of this with the highest degree of efficiency.
When I read your website, and it said: “I put my name on the company-to remind me of the qualities that I want to portray in the work that I do”, I thought I’d found someone that might do a good job on our project. After you left, I knew I’d found someone that did a great job. Your personal character that you brought to the job is commendable.
We look forward to doing other projects together; right now, we are thoroughly enjoying the one that you just completed for us.
